For example, at the beginning of My Darling Em is yawning, like he just woke up while the skit ends with him waking up to the alarm clock. I guess I sort of see why 3 AM was put there, like his alarm woke him up tat 3? But overall it seems like a random opener. My Darling just fits the tone much better I think. The doctor even calls him "darling" in the skit.
I'm really curious as to whether or not Marshall had thought of this? If so, why was MD not on the original Relapse?
It tells a great story, has an extremely catchy hook, and has such a cool eerie feel, like the deep Slim Shady/demonic deep voice. Not to mention the chainsaw motor as a part of the beat?
