Mark Wahlberg used to go by "Marky Mark" and had an incredibly corny hiphop group named "Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch" in the early 90s. Pretty much one-hit wonders, with their best known song "Good Vibrations."

Em's comment seemed to piss Mark off because during this time Mark was trying to be taken seriously and transition over to actor only (like his corny rap group never existed).

I can just tell... I'm from a fairly rough, small city myself and I knew a lot of tough guys and... I was never a tough guy really but got by with my humour and... Em has a razor sharp tongue and may have hung with tough guys but you can so tell he's not tough, he's not the fighting type.

Mark on the other hand has that posture and physical confidence - and I'm not talking about the way he worked out, I'm saying he's a fighting type. He actually likes it. He would fuck Em up.
