The growth Eminem showed and how he developed into

Postby Aftermathers » May 14th, '12, 17:58

1 of the greatest Song Writters ever from Infinite to Recovery. On Infinite he wasn't anywhere near the legendary Song Writter he was like on The Eminem Show his best work as a Writer. He progressed so much to be such a great rounded Writer he covered all angles from Infinite to Albums like The Eminem Show, The MMLP, Recovery etc from Writting Songs with diffrent Topics to using Emotion like no other in his Lyrics, to Writting some of the best Choruses ever in Hip Hop to being able to Write any type of Sing.

He Can Write such an amazing easy on the ears Song like Superman to such a hard hitting Deep Song like Rock Bottom to an entertaining Song like So Bad to a Comedy Song like The Real Slim Shady.

Theres been many other great Song Writters in Hip Hop many who showed growth like him but i can't think anyone who had the package he did for example 2pac was a good Writer but he left the Hooks to RnB Singers while Eminem is a great Hook Writer, Nas is a good Writer but he again had weakness on Writting Hooks and couldn't craft a Song like Eminem as far as a Real Slim Shady or So Bad. It''s the package Eminem had of Writting Songs with diffrent Topics, Writting diffrent type of Songs, Writting great Hooks that seperates him from other good Writers.

So...do you like Recovery less since he did less hooks on it?

No cos the most important aspect is of course Lyrical Content, what you Rapping about how you expressing your pain, how you making the listeners connect and relate to the Music and Recovery was first class at that!!!!

Also the Hooks he did on there i mean the So Bad Hook is as good as you gonna hear so even in that aspect the 1s he did do on there were really good. Though i must say The Eminem Show Hooks were his best.

Eminem has written so many different types of songs. You have a song about him killing his ex, you have songs dedicated to his daughter, you have songs that tell a story, you have goofy songs, you have songs about raping and murdering, you have songs where he's just venting about his life, etc. I think that's one of the reasons so many people like his music; with so much variety you're bound to like at least some of his songs.
