Ehhh, I don't really see it.

Slick Rick and Big L are the main influences that you can properly notice in his lyrics, to me.

I'd imagine a lot of the that storytelling and far out humour in the SSLP area was influenced by The Adventures Of Slick Rick (Indian Girl sticks out for this - "pussy started yawning").

Eminem's style on Infinite was derived from Nas and AZ. Eminem has confirmed this.

Everything else is just a product of having listened to numerous rappers doing different things as he was growing up.

And Masta Ace patterned his 21st century style after Eminem, not vice-versa.

The only influences that are recognizable in Em's music to me are Masta Ace and Redman. And Nas in his Infinite days...but that was more biting than influence.
