Alright, I've been repeating this song just realizing how amazing it is

But does anyone else feel like it could've been on The Slim Shady LP instead of The Marshall Mathers LP? Or just me?

Judging by the flow, delivery, production, writing, etc, there is no way I can see it on the SSLP. Anyway, we got our Drug Ballad of the SSLP (Cum on Everybody). Love Drug Ballad. "Fuckin' faggot" lmao.

Drug Ballad is my favorite Em song. Everything about the song is amazing. The lyrics are so incredibly vivid, real, hysterical and just flows so well. Its been said that he wrote the song in about 20 minutes(which makes the song even more amazing). I think he might have said that in his Angry Blonde book. It clearly shows how locked in Em was with his music at that point in his career. as for being on SSLP, its clear that its just kind of a sequel to cum on everybody. they both are his party songs for the album.

and listening to the song now after all that he went thought with his overdose just gives me goosebumps. Obviously in the song he's talking about party drugs and alcohol, not the pills he was taking when he OD. its a very real look into how Em was feeling at that time with all the drugs and partying he was doing. He knew he was getting out of control and brought us all into his world of drugs with this song. I FUCKING LOVE IT

I feel that on all of Em's albums where he has some sort of party track, they are all consistently good and always a highlight for me. you got Cum on Everybody, Drug Ballad, Superman(this one is kind of a stretch but it does have diana rae), Hello, and WTP.

Great song, to many great lines to name. fuck it, im gonna put the song on now.
