I think he does get bored, actually. I thought that was common knowledge? He says in The Way I Am (the book.... and I guess the song too), that the reason he acts all serious and awkward in interviews is because he gets sick of answering the same questions over and over.

Huge popular icons avoid to get asked stupid questions (most of the time) so interviewers have to send their questions and get them validated before an interview. Overseas, that's a fact.

In the US too, especially on TV though. Radio interviewers gets a little more freedom from what I noticed.

^^ exactly this. We always complain about the same old questions, but is Eminem team who pick the questions. I remember when he was in France in 2010, Emma De Caunes complained because Eminem crew wanted to see the questions first. And out of a lot of interesting questions they only accepted 2. And guess what questions?? Yeah the same as ever.
