I'm not an expert on this topic, but he's not bending words as noticeably on SSLP like he did on Relapse.

If you pronounce "Orange juice" as "OR-ANGE JEWS" then it rhymes easily with "Door hinge loose".

A more noticeable case of word-bending would be on Rock Bottom, during the chorus when he says

When this life makes you mad enough to KIIIILL
When you want something bad enough to STIIIILL

even though he obviously meant "steal".

He's not doing it nearly as much, but he's slightly changing pronunciation so it rhymes. He's just not rhyming in accents and bending everything like Relapse. Part of it might be because of his Detroit accent too.
