I'd say Em took it for everything bar "Fast Lane".
Even on "Fast Lane", Royce outraps him in the 2nd verse and his lyrics are pretty good but the lines people quote, shout and remember are Em's.
Royce can keep up with Em with flow and delivery but his lyrics are corny as hell. Even against some of Em's dreadful puns, Em still has a character and wit that Royce only tries to emulate. Like, his line about the Serena Williams hitting him with tennis rackets - just falls so flat. Where as "I hope I don't sound too henious when I say this, Nicki Minaj but I wanna stick my penis in you're anus - you morons think that I'm a genius, really I belong inside a dang insane asylum" is badass as hell.
Totally disagree with everyone on "Take from Me", Royce's verse was good but Em's was way better (waits for someone to quote 'wipe line'), Em's flow is beautiful and the whole "I'm livid to-day cause I break my back to give you my art, you steal my thoughts; it's like driving a spike through my heart" part is awesome-and-addictive as hell to listen/rap with. Em is a much better writer.
You can quote his shitty (lol) puns all you want but he still has a craftsmanship and sound to his writing and phrasing that is unique and like-a-writer, he sounds more like a writer than a rapper. Royce still sounds like a rapper. It's a different level entirely.
