No I think that's because the rappers on each verse happen to be in order of complexity lmao.

Royce is the least complex. Joell is third, Crooked is the second most, Eminem is the most.

I don't think it's a metaphor for anything lmao, that's an insane, made-up reach / invention of a concept. It just so happens they go in that order, with one being better than the other.

More likely is - they all recorded verses for it and Em noticed which was more complex and placed them in that order, so that the song built-up. He always does this, as he thinks climatically.

This is one of those times where Em basically ignored the beat entirely and just created his own melody though lmao. Which is why he sounds weird on beats that aren't melodic and best on his own where the melody matches the flow he creates. The only other beats he sounds good on are Dre's, which are rarely melodic but, they provide a clear, crisp backdrop where his voice can take stage. Please please please ditch these garbage beats Em.

He can rap as good as he wants, if the production is fucked, the album will be too. And judging by the results on WTOH, it's not looking good! Hope to fuck it's nothing like those productions. His "Our Verse" verse is awesome as fuck, but the beat SUCKS MAJOR ASS, so it becomes a muffled, forgettable experience. Relapse material only improves in standing as it' was a sublime marriage of music and rap.

I think it's just a coincidence. I'm still upset they cut Joe's verse off of it. I don't think Em's verse fits on it. It sounds completely out of place to me.

Raps with this intensity, speed and voice. He hit it on the head with verse. Not any unessesary punchlines or metaphors and finishes it off perfectly. Best Eminem feature in a long time.
