Not much more to say, but just my feeling.

I think Eminem is going to attempt to shock us with totally new angles. New flows that we have never heard before. Totally random themes. In a way though, I do have a feeling that it will have more of a mainstream feel to it.

What I mean is he will go over the top. He will go borderline crazy and will be enthused, but it's going to have humor in it ala My Mom, but without the weird accents. He will probably do a lot of celebrity bashing and may go in on rappers. As far as showing his dark side, he may make a lot of indirect references like about the shootings: batman in colorado, boston, ect.. But he can't do it on a completely dark way, he has to clown around.

I actually 100% agree with you. I think this is what he's going to do as well. With the obvious 2-3 serious songs for singles.

There will be an adjustment period. It won't be quite what we expected but we will pick up more and more lyrics abd it will grow on us. He is going to go over the top. 6 months after people will call it classic and others will say he struck out. Then another 6 months later we'll get excited about more material thinking it will be even better

Never in a million years did I expect how Relapse sounded and especially I did not expect that content given how huge and commercial he had gotten...

Then after Relapse... never the fuck did I expect Recovery.

For better or worse, he always surprises.
