The Art Of Rap freestyle was actually in 2011.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

How?

The only noticeable difference was he started doing some annoying chipmunk/deep voice alterations in 2012...that has nothing to do with his delivery of the lyrics, though.

uh no, Em's delivery in 2011 was fierce. More like Recovery-ish.
Do you think Eminem's tone, pitch, and volume in Above The Law & Welcome To Hell is same as that of Numb & CLMR ?

You just chose the yelling verses from 2011 and the non-yelling verses from 2012.

He uses a non-yelling voice plenty times in 2011 as well...The Kiss is one example.

But you're right...he did realize he was overdoing the yelling in 2011 and stopped. I forgot about that. Both years are a blur of forgettable verses.

I actually really hope you hate his new album

I was quickly about to say 2012, then I remembered BME, which I all-in-all enjoyed.

Better rapping in 012 (apart from the BET Cypher which is awesome). Better songs in 011.

I choose 2011 just because the BME ep was amazing. But I do believe he rapped a little better in 2012. If he were to have released a project in 2012, I'm sure he would have topped 2011 easily.
