Hate to be the first to say this but Recovery imo. Maybe not as a cohesive album, and surely not in several categories, but as individual songs I enjoy Recovery more.
Before I piss someone off, Relapse has way better production and the rhymes are off the scale.

Ya know I know this has always been a thought before, but I never actually decided. And now I realize it's hard.
I think Recovery has stronger individual songs, but Relapse is a stronger overall album.
I'm gonna go with Relapse.

I'm going to have to go with Relapse.. I think Recovery was amazing too.. But Relapse was a bit better..

No doubt. Relapse all the way. For ME, Relapse is almoooost up there with TES and MMLP. If I just could remove "Crack a bottle" and maybe "Beautiful". But with the refill songs, that kinda makes up for it.

I do love Relapse but the accents for the most of the album is in my eyes always the huge mistake with the album. When I think back to when I first listened to both albums I preferred listening to Recovery.
But what am I gonna do when the rage is gone and the lights go out in that trailer park?

I like Recovery a lot better. Sorry.
Better overall songs, Em sounded like he was actually hungry again. I do feel like it was rushed and wasn't as cohesive as Relapse, but I enjoy Recovery a lot better overall.

Relapse by a landslide of steak filets and pussyfeet, but IMO, the more I listen to it, the more it ketches up to the energy that Em mustard on Relapse.

Like Menzo said, Recovery seems like stadium music. All the songs seem like they're trying to be larger than life, and they kind of accomplish that.
But Relapse feels like the better album from a rap aspect for me.
