The moment i heard superman, i was about nine years old, i think, and didn't really get into Em until much later. The fact that i heard it at my cousin's house the day i met my first girlfriend is probably also responsible for some of the fondess with which i remember the day.

It was before the MMLP release.I was 10 when i first saw him on MTV. He was talking about him being bullied in school and other shit. My aunt went in and said something like "Oh, he is cool guy" and i decided to check some of his music. 2 days after i bought the tape lol.

First time me and a buddy sat down and listened to TES while playing Tony Hawk 3 on the PS2. I was about 11 and mumbled the words in Cleaning Out My Closet even though I had no idea what they ment.

Back when TES came out, I was like 10 or so. All I remember is being at my grandfather's beach house and constantly seeing the "Without Me" music video. Then I borrowed my older brother's iPod one day and the only Eminem he had was TES and I just listened to it on repeat for god knows how long.

The rest is history.
