...to admit in front of people that you are an Eminem Fan?

What I mean is sometimes, basically everytime, when i get asked about what music do i like and what artist is my favourite, i have a trouble to say - Eminem. Why? Because I always have a feeling that Eminem Fans are just a bunch of children for other people. You can see this everywhere - youtube, twitter, facebook. I'm not even talking about Russisan Internet, where the majority of fans are kids that speak total bullshit. What i want to say is - Eminem Fans are dumb, stupid, silly, ignorant, angry kids in the eyes of people, especially in the eyes of rap fans in general. So when it comes to question about my favourite music, i feel very awkward to answer.

Friends are friends. Im not araid to talk about him in front of them too, but what about other people? The problem is - the term "Eminem fan" itself is a very blurred thing. "Eminem fan" is supposed to cause the image of Stan for people, but it's not like that. It causes the image of a mindless teenager.

The reasons people find to hate Em's music is completely ridiculous and rather ignorant. I'm very vocal in the fact that I'm an Em fan. The man has fans from the underground rap scene all the way to the head of the shakespeare company, who called him an "inheritor of Shakespeare". I frankly don't give a shit about the bandwagoners who think Em sucks.

Wow, it seems like im the only one who feels some kind of a shame, when i read some teenage bullshit, at the same time realizing that many people know that Im an Eminem fan too. Agree on the rap thing though.

Hmm...I don't think I ever talked about him in front of strangers. I mean....there's no reason to do that. I chat with friends and sometimes I bring him up. It's not that I'm afraid to admit that I'm an Eminem fan in public. It's just....I don't need to. Why would I? Well If they ask me 'Who are your favorite musicians?' then I'll answer 'Eminem' but I won't say 'Hey I'm an Eminem fan. What do you think about him?' first.
