"We'll be joined at the hip, I'll be so latched to you
You'll be walkin' out the house and I'll run up and tackle you
Chain your ass up to the bed and shackle you
You don't think you're leavin' this house in that, do you?
Not till I brand my name in your ass and tattoo you
And have you walkin' out this bitch in turtleneck sweaters
Scarves and full leathers in 90 degree weather"
Is comedic brilliance

That shit is GENUINELY funny. There's been flickers of his real wit since his return but I'm still waiting to be cracked-up in an adult way like here.
I mean I don't sit here laughing aloud but it makes me smirk like "nice" like I would at a comedian's bit... 'scraves and full leathers in 90 degree weather' lmfao... that's really witty, and not random, it's in accordance with his jealous, possessive, freakish, creepo Shady persona...
Closest he got to this I think since his return was probably on "Same Song and Dance".
I hope his new album has some genuinely brilliant dark wit... the BET Cypher is a good sign that he's getting back in to that zone actually, the bit about taking a big wheel from a kid and spitting in his meal etc. is vintage spiteful wit... and real-world... as when he's not feeling particularly witty he just tends to be silly, or angry. I think his most compelling mix is spiteful, angry and witty all at once ala "The Way I Am" or "Kill You"... hoping for minimal puns and maximum wit.
PS. this part of "We All Die One Day" verse:
"I'm a psycho, Mariah ain't got shit on me
when I retire I'll be spitting baby food on people
a tent sieged on her ranch, huddled up next to her
with Hello Kitty slippers on, humping her legs"
Is also fucking funny. Oh and that verse is out of this world.
