How did you NOT know Jay-Z recorded an album? there has been months of people around Jay sayin he's been in the studio, including Timberlake and Beyonce, hell, Jay-z even put out a song last month, or the month before..idk, i lost track of time

I remember someone posting a few day's back saying that the reason for the delay (if you can call it that) is because he's not confident of his own work at the moment and for some reason that made sense to me, everyone is saying how he's inspired by kendrick and his album but what if really it's made him second guess his own.

Or maybe he'll drop a release date tomorrow what do I know.

It's definitely still possible. I would think that it would have to be announced VERY soon though, perhaps before July. The way that Jay and Kanye's camp work to Em's is completely different. I can't see Em doing a similar thing and announcing an album with very little time for promotion.
