I've just listened to Airplanes pt. 2 after a while and damn, Em went in.
It's a shame it wasn't a single like it was supposed to be. Such a wasted opportunity.
Can anyone tell me what happened? I remember B.o.B. saying to MTV that part 2 was supposed to be part 1 but there was a problem so he released the other one as a single and kept the one with Em as a remix/bonus track.

Probably because of rhyming shit with shit, but yeah it's a shame it wasn't the single instead of part 1.

I was saying more so because of the swearing 3 times in a row that's why maybe it wasn't used as single. I don't have anything against his rhyming there

I think that the shit could have a deeper meaning than that he was just repeating it. We all know he's better than that, it wasn't a mistake. He may be playing on the hypothetical scenario where he never worked hard and where he made excuses, and in that scenario he would rhyme shit with shit.

The first Airplanes was a huge hit for B.O.B

Maybe it would have been even bigger if he relased the EM Version first but i dont think he`s losing any sleep over it :P
