Does Encore/The Re-Up feel tainted to you?

I can't listen to it because it isn't good. The earlier songs that leaked on straight to the lab are good songs. But other than that, it is all shit. Em was burnt out. He couldn't write. It was just about money. Interscope knew the album was shit. But Em was so hot at the time they knew it would sell. Pisses me off to think they didn't want Relapse 2 but would green light shitcore. $$$$$

Not really, I think he used the drugs as an excuse for the laziness / lack of creativity on Encore.

You can clearly hear it on The Re-Up, but, I've done a lot of drugs myself including addiction-level to sedatives and, he ain't that high on Encore. I can tell he ain't.

So I think he got pissed at the leaks and didn't have anymore ideas so made a bunch of stupid shit. He sounded bored and uncreative, I think he was just out of ideas rather than high.

So I just see Encore as a waste of an album and 'what could have been'.

It actually improves them, because now I can visualize Eminem popping pills in the booth as he makes the worst music imaginable.

We all know it was horrible, but I was mainly focusing on how it makes me feel. I feel really awkward and uncomfortable especially listening to 'Shady Narcotics' he sounded so fucked up it's sad, you can hear the absolute horror in his voice...

I agree, Encore was bad but I will say that there is atleast 8 good song's on there that I still listen to. Number's 2-6 are my favourite on the album and I consider them good in general. I hate Rainman and Big Weenie. I have never heard's such horrible song's in my life.

I didn't care much for Re-Up. Pistol, Pistol is good, You Don't Know had some sick line's. Smackthat, Public Enemy #1 and Shake That I liked to. No Apologies is extremely under rated, it's one of my favourite and atleast top 20.

I just don't like litening to them to much because, like already said, it makes me remember when Marshall Mather's was on the road death and he is the only music I listen to.
