Big Sean collabs will not be on Hall of Fame

"Before we even talked about music or was working on music, we exchanged stories and then we were in the studio and I was like, 'I got my album with me' and he was like 'Ok, I'll hear a couple of songs - I'm in a hurry'."

He continued: "So, I played it and was like, 'If it's whack tell me to cut it off'' but I ended up playing my whole album back and he said he'd never been so surprised. He [Eminem] said 'I knew you could rap, but the album is real good'. It was just a great day."

When asked whether they managed to lay down a track together, Sean explained: "We were trying to make the collab work for my album but due to timing issues it's probably not going to work out. You'll get a collab though, just probably won't be for Hall Of Fame."

Well... at least that 'timing' excuse seems to be more legit considering Big Sean is a big mainstream rapper, so doesn't just look he's bitching Tech.

Though he managed to find time for 2 Pink songs and 3 Rihanna ones LOL.

I think it's entirely political and that Em's label obviously only care about numbers and if not numbers then... there's friction between labels aka maybe that's why he's never worked with Kanye, Nas or now Big Sean may not happen: due to them being on Def Jam / prime rivals or something.

Although he did work with Jay... hmmm...

I dunno. I definitely think Em is under some amount of control that we fear he is though because even in a 2001 interview with Triple J radio and some others... you can hear Em like taking instruction from people like "they're telling me I need to wrap this up", like he's not acting and deciding for himself, he's being told what to do and when to do it...

Which is just insane. He's the fucking genius icon, he should call all the shots as without him, they got fuck all. He has all the power... not sure if he's utilizing it, or maybe he is really just choosing.
