Eminem prime wasn't in 2000/2002

Postby King Lance » Aug 28th, '13, 20:46

:coffee:

I seriously think that Eminem was in his prime in 2003.

8 mile Road
Lose Yourself
Run Rabbit

why are people talking about 2000 as Eminem's best year when Lose Yourself and Run Rabbit are easily in his top 5 and you could give 8 mile road a spot in his top 10...

I definitely don't hate it but I can't remember the last time I listened to it.

I think MMLP had his best flow, though his subject matter evolved in 02 and 03 for sure

yeah but in those few years before 2003 he put out such an incredible amount of quality shit, from the features he did, to his own albums, and extensive contributions to Devil's Night and 2001.

can we just do this by release date rather than recording date?

would be much less confusing

No, it's much less accurate.

Kim was written in like 97 but not released until 2000.
