I was listening to Em's "Outro" verse, when I began thinking about how Eminem's major problem after 8 Mile besides his immaturity, was his aimless rambling. This was a huge problem in a lot of 2006-2008 verses imo. He never had generally "bad" lyrics in those times besides I'll Hurt You, he just had very an aimless direction that made his verses sound like bland filler. Take "Smack That" for an example, besides the "woody" line, it isn't really bad, it just has a lot of useless ramblings that add nothing. Lines like "OH! LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER CLUB BANGER, THEY'D BETTER HANG ON WHEN THEY THROW THIS THING ON" are just so useless and paperthin that they could easily be removed. D12 World has a lot of rambling too, specifically in 6 In the Morning, Git Up, and 40 o.z. Having freedom to rap about whatever, was not a good idea for drugged up Eminem, with little to no skills, because in the end, we got lyrics where Eminem rhymes banana with banana with banana with fo-fanna with banana. Encore seemingly had no real problems with rambling besides in Never Enough, instead replacing that problem with another problem, which was irritatingly bad immature lyrics. Eminem post-comeback also had a lot of problems with rambling, with shining examples being Old Time's Sake, We Made You, Medicine Ball, Won't Back Down, On Fire, Taking My Ball, Underground, and Elevator. The reason for this being that he gives himself no real concept to rap about, Medicine Ball comes close to having a concept, but it still comes across as an excuse to rap about whatever comes to his head. Elevator is insulting, with the chorus having nothing to do with the entire song. Eminem isn't as good at rapping just to rap, because when that happens, it causes random useless ramblings like "Fuck around and throw a baby AT ANOTHER BABY" and "I believe I can fly, while I pee on a girl, you won't catch me C.S.I!". 2011 Eminem solved this problem, by essentially rapping about the same things whenever given no direction to go in, besides in maybe the BET Cypher.

I kept going back and forth on whether or not this was a joke and I still can't tell. You say Encore's only rambling song was Never Enough which had a very obvious theme...so yeah seems like a troll. But then you actually seem bothered about some Relpase lines...If this is serious, then you're pretty dumb for thinking Never Enough was Encore's only ramble song. If you're kidding...then this was a pretty weak attempt. But you did say you hated the rambling in stuff like TMB. Is the joke that your entire post is one long ramble session?

I haven't listened to Never Enough in a while, but I remember it being essentially just generic. I'll relisten. Actually, I forgot, I'd classify My 1st Single as rambling too, maybe Encore too. But how even remotely does this sound like trolling?

With the amount of material he has released over his entire career, it just isn't possible (or necessary) that every song he releases has some kind of compelling concept. You're going to be disappointed if you expect MMLP2 to not have any songs of him rapping for the fuck of it.

I've been sort of confused which direction to go in since I came back. But I think I've found a simple balance to stick with. I was never funny, I was just...awful, my Encore review is a gleaming example.
