... featuring RiRi, Skylar and the guy from Fun!
I shouldv'e known it straight away. Calling it MMLP2, dying his hair blonde again, including a COD soundtrack on the album... And then we get that tracklist?!?! What the fuck has Eminem become? He's turning into everything he used to stand against and I'm dumbfounded. There's not much more he could be doing right now to be a boxed-up, packaged product with one mission and one mission only: to sell as many records as possible.
Even with Recovery he was happy to drench the Not Afraid video in Beats By Dre advertising. Then he's doing commercials here and there and we're all trying to justify it to ourselves because we don't wanna believe Eminem has become a mainstream pop tart sellout whore. Shallow collaborations... Bruno Mars here, Nicki Minaj there... but as patient and loyal fans we gave him a pass and hope he can just deliver on his solo material.
When he got Rihanna to do the hook on LTWYL some diehard Em fans bullshitted themselves that he purposely got RiRi on it because she had her own domestic issues in the past. It gave some legitimacy to having her on the track for reasons other than record sales. Now what, what's the reason for it this time, on a sequel to Em's greatest piece of ART, of which a huge theme was the mocking of and diversion away from mainstream, wishy washy commercial pop culture? Now in the sequel he's working with the fucking biggest popstar in the world... for the THIRD fucking time. Oh, is this the part where Stans tell me "He knows what he's doing, he's bluffing us, he has a trick up his sleeve and is gonna surprise the hell out of us when it drops!!!"

PUH-LEASE.
"Stronger Than I Was"... "Survival"... "Legacy"..."So Much Better" LOL. Gee, song titles like that really get the imagination going. I wonder what those tracks are gonna be about. What a joke. Sure he'll have a few tracks here and there where he is spewing "menacing lyrics" but big fucking deal. It's become such a cliche, predictable act by now that him screaming nonsensical obscenities just for the sake of it barely has any authenticity to it anymore. I've kind of been accepting over the last few years that Em is heading into the depths of hell (also known as mainstream pop culture) but that tracklist has really fucking pushed it. I'm actually feeling disgusted the more and more I think about it. What a total fucking sellout.
