Rap God vs Remember me

Postby Ubb » Oct 16th, '13, 18:59

Since both tracks are track 9, which one do you think is better? I think Rap God. He has so many punchlines and he is rhyming like crazy, his flow(s) are soooo awesome. I've listened to this track like over 50 times now and I just love it more and more.

Remember Me, to be honest, was a throwaway track, and Dre probably persuaded Em to include it on the album only to buoy the careers of the two artists featured on it.

I have listened to Rap God more. I personally prefer it more too. But if I say that, it makes my opinion invalid.

Didn't Eminem spend like a month writing his verse so he could top Sticky Fingaz verse or something?

Sick sick dreams of picnic scenes, two kids, sixteen
with M-16's and ten clips each
And them shits reach through six kids each
And Slim gets blamed in Bill Clint's speech to fix these streets?

Little gay looking boy
So gay I can barely say it with a straight face looking boy
You witnessing a massacre
Like you watching a church gathering take place looking boy
Oy vey, that boy's gay, that's all they say looking boy
You get a thumbs up, pat on the back
And a way to go from your label everyday looking boy
Hey, looking boy, what you say looking boy?
I get a "hell yeah" from Dre looking boy
I'mma work for everything I have
Never ask nobody for shit, get outta my face looking boy
Basically boy you're never gonna be capable
To keeping up with the same pace looking boy
It's the body bag game bitch I'm supplying coffins

So when comparing two songs, we take the worst part of one and the best of another? Ok.

Tbh, I really don't like Remember me that much. Em's verse is great, the other 2 are ok. The concept is meh. I prefer Rap God for sure.
