I LOVED his mocking voices in Rap God

Em is seriously just as much an actor as he is a rapper. He takes on characters and personas like it's nothing. And in Rap God, he seems SO self-aware that Recovery was received as a pop album and that he's not as big as he was back then.

I honestly hope he uses that mocking voice in more MMLP2 songs because it's really entertaining and funny. Rap God.

i love the second verse the most tbh. that "im a product of rakim" part is so smooth. i also like the first half of the first verse as well. and i love the third verse up until the "make lemonade then/ bake them a cake then" but overall this song is fantastic

Eminem has a figurative hole in his brain where his old instincts used to be.

The "mocking voices" stuff doesn't come from his own artistic instincts...it comes from him going back to songs like Criminal and realizing that's what he used to do.

The one positive thing to take from a song like Rap God is he's expressing his opinions in his music again.

Just tried rapping along for the first time with some of the shit too... and it feels boss af.

People on Studioleaks saying that the complexity of the flows makes it almost impossible to rap along with which makes it worse... no, that makes it better.

Because it's not impossible, it just takes you longer, just means it's more dense, there's more to it.

I don't like it. Everything he does now has to be fast, or intense. It's all this FUCK YEAH, LETS KNOCK SHIT OVER music.


Almost every time he raps slow it's some kind of sarcastic or stupid voice.


I just want him to slow it down and make a consistent verse.

I don't want to have to feel like I should be doing pull ups during every one of his songs or rolling my eyes as he changes speeds back and forth and back and forth.

He did a great job of what I'm talking about on the Eminem Show.
