I Almost Got To Like Survival (lol)

OK, so here I am walking around a store for TVs and all (the music plays in a great sound system) and Berzerk gets put on the radio. A smile pops on my face as I continue to window-shop. Few songs later as I walk out I notice another Em song and for some reason I mistook it for Survival. I was like, damn those drums are amazing how come I didn't like the song?

So I'm going home and on the back of my mind there's the excitement that I now like Survival and can't wait to play it, but when I did something was off, the drums were shitty again. It turned out the song I heard was My Life and not Survival :'(

So yeah, not a real point to this thread, just wanted to express my disappointment.

It's like this. I did like My Life when it dropped (at least beat-wise) but I didn't think it was that amazing. However, when you take my opinion of Survival, and you add the My Life drums, you suddenly start thinking that Survival may not have been so bad and you're very happy for it, so the My Life beat becomes a lot better.

Oh man, it's opposite for me. The drums in My Life are soooo generic. Just a couple of those numb kicks you get in a FL Studio template and then the most overused snare that exists. At least Survival had a few nice drumrolls and some power in them. And those crashes during the chorus... :flutter:

Survival production is good but not as good as Rap God or Berzerk. I think the production s a step-up from Recovery tbh tbh tbh.
