Em is a superstar, but his influence only carries so far. Why Cashis is not on the radio is proof of that.

We'll put it this way.

Troph 1 - Record company

(Is vital to Eminem or anyone selling extremely well. He has a large fan base but most of his customers are casual listeners)

Troph 2 - Eminem

(Yep, he's a super star)

Troph 3 - Artists directly under him

(D12 for example)

Troph 4 - Artists under D12

(Lesser known artists - Fuzz Scoota, and the other people on D12's mixtape)

They get more exposure, but if they're not as good as him, they will never be enough to people, and will always be under his shadow, and some people will only care about them because they know Em.

Troph 4 - Artists under D12

They get money to live by, and a little exposure.

I'm praying Em doesn't re-up with Interscope after this album drops. Paul must be in his ear about all this. Imagine hearing Eminem no holds barred and possibly getting a ton of unreleased shit.

I mean Em's influence on everything. Keep in mind that Troph 1 is the highest influence. If Em went indie and made a mixtape without promotion, he'd still sell a lot, but not nearly as much as he would've. Maybe 1 million copies instead of 15 million copies.
