Thank FUCK for the Pianos.

Postby EminemBase » Nov 2nd, '13, 19:24

After Recovery, I seriously feared more noisy mess...

But the fucking beautiful simplicity in "Legacy" is classic. The atmosphere is golden too, and a brilliant use of rain given the content/theme of the song.

Eminem always sounds bests over pianos, because the sound of pianos implies moods which he fulfills really well with his aggression and thoughts.

I'm so fucking happy that he used the fuck out of pianos well on MMLP2; the classical rush of piano tinkles on "Brainless" is ill as fuck as well. Classic Em production.

Pianos capture the melancholy feeling of a deep Em track perfectly.

i would happily wait 2 years for eminem's next album if he produced every track on it. imagine how great that would be

found out that some of my fav MMLP2 songs are ones he produced or co-produced. can't be a coincidence

Yup. It would give the album a singular feel too. I guessed right over a year ago though when I said Em was clearly practicing / touching up on producer skills and fuxing wit different genres wit SH and the Skylar album as he built something in secret.

still cant get over how perfect the last 2 minutes of bad guy!!!! the way the beat gets more and more powerful. "cause marshall mathers the rapper's persona's half a facade, and mathew and stan are just symbolic of what you dont have till its gone". GOD DAMN. but yeah i just love that he used that beat for it. and also, groundhog day's beat is unreal! that song has to be from like 09. i hope someone asks him in the Q/A tuesday

EmBase, I felt the same way. It was weird, listening to STIW it makes me think Eminem could produce a really great album for a singer that is versatile enough. That's how much his production has grown imo.
