Well, I'm mostly going off assumptions but.... Has he?
Him and Kim have been estranged for some time now as far as we know, and the passion he describes his love for someone on this album seems like he was just in a relationship very recently.
I honestly think he has been in one, quoting some lyrics from Stronger Than I Was:

Him and Kim have been together way longer than two years, and its been some time since their last known brush-up.
I think he met someone else and fell in love again tbh. And since he's been quiet as fuck about his life over-all whenever he's not putting out an album, we just didn't know....
But again these are just assumptions, what do you guys think?

The 2 years thing tipped me off as well...AT FIRST. Because they had been BACK together... for about 2 years (remember Kim talking about how they got back together when she got out of jail, and were together for about 2 years). So it actually doesn't rule it out.

I agree with you though. Anything's possible, but I don't get the vibe of him having been perpetually single aside from Kim.
