Their production together was interesting. Rhyme Or Reason is GOAT.

He's gonna be Em's new "Dr. Dre" calling it now. I see them working a lot more together in the future. And tbh I hope they do. Dre is done, it's the era of Rubin.

Not bad for a "poverty poster"


I really like Rick Rubin. I was pretty shocked he was working with Em. I mean, I guess it shouldn't have been, saying Rubin has worked with so many artists and help make so many amazing records.


But Em is private and likes his comfort and after he went outside the bubble for Recovery and it didn't work out, you would think he would run back into Dre's steroid inflated arms.

But he didn't and while Em gets the most credit for this album, Rubin obviously had a big influence in not only his own personal contributions but getting Em to look at things in a new way.

So much poverty in my posts, surprise I could afford a computer. The fact that Rubin was more prevalent than I anticipated as well as Em production shocked me in a great way. I expected one Em beat, and we got a few instead.

Em's production is as sharp as ever and Rubin only elevated the songs.

Yeah, I thought the collab worked well. Rubin usually doesn't do multiple albums with artists anymore, probably because Rick is so expensive and the artist feels they can keep that new direction themselves.

Em is rich as hell though and can afford to spend the Rubin money, and it feels like Eminem and Rubin really connected personally. You never know for sure, but they have real chemistry and seem to like each other. It's possible.
