I gotta be honest, I'm starting to love MMLP 2's beats. They are not corny. Reminds me of TES, but a more mature version.

Yeah, other than "Rhyme or Reason" and "Rap God"... and "Brainless" though... doesn't feel like too many WOW rap moments or lyrics from Em as usual.

Feels like he tried to balance it so much to the point that there's every kind of song. The lyrics are great throughout... just less wowed than I usually Em by Em's rapping on a new album.

Lyrically? By far. Flows too... I've vibed far less to the rapping than I did CWB and AF... and Spacebound, and Cinderella Man though so far... though.

But "Rap God" I think is some of his best rapping period. And not just speed or flow, I mean the combination of everything - lyrics and ideas too.

There just doesn't feel like that much rapping on MMLP2 in my mind when I think about it for some reason... it's like I have to carefully skip and go the rapping... so many hooks and meh... I dunno. There is a lot of rapping on it though, I don't know why it feels like there's not.

I wish Em would do an album with basically ALL of his own hooks again. They make his songs his.

There are cringe worthy moments in MMLP2 but there are also really good ones too.
