So it seems that American Cinema tends to re-visit successful films with a re-boot or remake, versus an attempt at exploring new grounds. So I'm thinking there will be an additional Eminem film(s) one day, and with less of a mix of fiction. He's proven that he was never intended to be a "flash in the pan", and cannot be erased from the annals of pop culture. So let’s say another director was given the reigns to make an Eight Mile-ish re-boot. Who would you envision being the best casting options...and this time let’s assume Em's role would have to be played to another actor. Also, what figures or events in his life would you want included this go around? Example, Esham being an influence turned jaded and jealous rival. I've always thought the actor Craig Robertson ("this is the end") would be a perfect fit for Esham. Maybe a reference to Em (infinite at the time) opening up for The House of Krazees (early Twiztid) in Detroit, than eclipsing their success shortly thereafter. Any lil interesting tidbits like that. What do you guys think about casting, storyboarding that you'd like to see occur one day?
