Finally, in the year 2013, about 13 years after Stan's death, Matthew exacted revenge.
"Bad Guy":
New plan, Stan
Slim, chauvinist pig drove in this big, Lincoln Town Car
Well gotta go, almost at the bridge, ha ha big bro it's for you
Slim, this is for him and Frank Ocean; oh, hope you can swim good
Now say you hate homos again
Matthew Mitchell, the younger brother of Stan, successfully kills himself and Eminem.
The album itself was made before "Bad Guy" even happened - not in reality, but following the story-line, this would be the case.
"Evil Twin" would be the first song that happens in the story-line. Eminem resurrects Slim Shady because he knows he is going to die. Now, I know "Slim Shady" is just some alter-ego Eminem created, but in this universe, these are all characters in the story-line. "Slim Shady" represents a person - Eminem's LITERAL alter-ego that manifests as himself with blonde hair, a meaner attitude, and much more abstract thoughts.
In the real world, Eminem must have realized that he truly enjoys being Slim Shady, and that escaping into his world was the best way to continue is career. In the fictional universe, Eminem brought Slim Shady back after destroying him not to continue his career, but because he knew his karma was going to bite him in the ass...hard.
So, in one final attempt at redemption, Eminem reveals at the end of "Evil Twin" that he was the one behind the hateful thoughts in his music in the past. But, that isn't going to stop him from continuing those thoughts.
Unfortunately, Eminem is killed by Matthew. In the real world, this signifies the "good" side of Eminem leaving his music, meaning he is going to go all out on any new projects: disses, gay bashing, women beating, drug taking, raping, shooting, total violence.
In the fictional universe, this means that Slim Shady will now be the one we see in the media. He will most likely remain with the blonde hair and cocky attitude until the end of his career.
Now that Slim Shady has total control of the music, what can we expect? What are your thoughts? Serious replies only, please.
