So, guys I need help!
First time when i heard Stan i loved it! (And basiclly i knew that it's real story!)
But I read in one forum some days ago, that he made the video for more famouse and money!
Pleeeease If anybody can tell me is it real story or not!

Yes, the reason why he almost OD'ed was because of his guilt for Stan's death. Has nothing to do with Proof, he didn't even like Proof.

There was discussion on this forum before about a real person being the inspiration for Stan. The obsessed fan idea, not the death and murder.
