Bad Guy 4th verse, Realest Verse

Postby TheVipBro » Jan 23rd, '14, 05:41

LOL remember when we first heard the leaked "bad guy" LMFAO and we didn't know wtf was going on and we thought it was eminem rapping (like him as in the persona, not mathew) and we thought he was quiting /killing his stage persona and we were all sad?

On a brighter note, i think the 4 verse of bad guy might just be his "realest" moment/verse of his career, might not be insane rhyming but apart from it having PERFECT delivery (imo)which just makes it so powerful and great, it's just so real, and probably get's every artist and aspiring artist out there thinking about everything, idk how else to explain it, it's his "Realest" verse to me from this aspect
He managed to give his Conscience a voice, i imagine him looking at a mirror and the mirror him (conscience) yelling at him all that, making him want to come back stronger than ever so he can be remembered as a great, that part is actually more visual to me than most of the song
The voice just sounds like "Fuck this shit marshall, You gotta give it your best because one day you won't be here", kinda like mickey in rocky when he says "get up you son of a bitch"
(sorry if there is already a thread about this)

Yes the verse is one of his best of all time. And also the rhyming was kind of insanely good in the 4th verse. He kept rhyme schemes going for a while with a lot of the rhyming being subtle so it's hard to catch unless you really listen.

It perfectly captures the sense of urgency/anxiety he has obviously felt building up inside him in the last three or so years.

It's a brilliant verse. The final few bars with the whispered delivery = perfect.

Most vivid/intimate would've probably been a better way to put it.

Kinda, for some reason.... Reminds of the last verse on My Dad's Gone Crazy.

Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again

Probably because, much like My Dad's Gone Crazy, it's a dope verse that comes out of nowhere, and the beat changes up, as well as the mood.
