I mean the way Marshall went through changes (no pun intended) scares me a lot. I would honestly LOVE to think that his inner asshole is still present but I'm not sure what to believe. Everything he used to be back in 2000 is pretty much gone, from basic pop star bashing in his interviews to simply not giving a fuck about the chaos surrounding him around the time of MMLP release date. I get this weird, sentimental vibe when looking at his older interviews and thinking that this is the man I looked up to all my life, who gave me strenght when stuff got thick, 2000 Eminem is my ULTIMATE role model and will forever remain this way.
I must admit, I throw up in my mouth whenever he says that Drake, Wayne etc are dope. Although I can understand where he's coming from (beefing pretty much all his carrer) but is it really neseccary to be labeling Young Money as dope rappers? I keep on thinking that by appealing to everyone he tries to avoid unneeded feuds and that's okay, but at the same time overrating them and giving them praise they don't deserve is lousy af.
''I would've had my ass handed to me'', why Marshall?

This may seem like a rant but honestly I only want to know what brought him to this drastic change or what influenced him to become who he is in 2014. Is it the brainwasher ''How to get friends and influence people'' or whatever, the book he was shot reading in public? (The image can be seen in The Way I am). I'm thankful more than anything for a masterpiece he dropped which is MMLP2 and super glad he still makes great music even to this day
