I was listening to the song this morning and I realized he slurs some words in the chorus.
Listen to when he says " I used to sit and goof", it sounds slurred. Also, "80 something.." is kinda slurred as well.
Overall, his voice on the chorus sounds deeper like on e.g. CWYWF or Beautiful.
My guess is he recorded the chorus when he was still on drugs, and then added the verses after sobering up.
Thoughts?

Hook is amazing. It does have a 03-06 esque hook that we haven't heard much from modern Em but it was definitely recorded around 09.
