Didn't Eminem say that Dr. Dre came up with "Slim Shady"? He said that he came back from somewhere with died hair and was drunk, and Dre said that's his alter ego - Slim Shady. (I read this in the book "The Way I Am")

So why did the "Slim Shady EP get the attention of the mighty DRE"?

What part is incorrect? :confusion:

Eminem gave the Slim Shady EP to someone who happened to work for Dr Dre
& can you guess who heard it? :whistle:

Proof formed D12. Not enough people were in. Each person needed a 2nd alias so it was really D12. So Eminem came up with the name of Slim Shady while he was taking a shit. When he got signed by Dre, they were looking for the image of Slim Shady, how Slim Shady would set apart from the norm. When Eminem was high on ecstacy with Royce he bleached his hair and the next day walked in the studio with the bleached hair and Dre said that was how Slim Shady should look like.
