Yeah there honestly is kind of a double standard here, when someone raps about being a serial killer it's accepted as fiction. But when a nonsmoker makes a song about smoking weed they're considered fake because so many people smoke that it's a common thing.

To be fair though those are two different things. A horrorcore song is a suspension of belief, assumption of a character. Complete fiction. "Weed songs" tend to be made for an audience with a mutual enjoyment of getting high, so when the person making the song has never actually smoked weed, not only does it make the song basically as fictional as a song about serial killing, it turns the song from a shared celebration of smoking it to just random bullshit.

Hmm.. I think it doesn't really matter. Nobody asked him to smoke drugs or anything, he created a whole gangsta image.
