Sorry I'm late with commenting on this, but yeah I finally got the time to do so. The shit's pretty impressive and I wasn't expecting it to be this good, not after Gates Mixed Plate. Seems like Tech is improving with every new project he works on/puts out.

Tech is an absolute lyrical monster, no doubts that "Welcome to Strangeland" will be anything but a lyrical masterpiece.

Holy fuck, I wasn't inspired to download this but I played Who Do I Catch on Youtube, feels like I HAVE TO download this now.

Who Do I Catch is probably the only good song on there. Beautiful Music and Retrogression are alright I guess, everything else is sub par to crappy.

I can't believe Tech's 40 today.

Really? I thought every Tech verse was amazing the features were ehhhh at some points though.

I like this album!!! It does exactly what he set forth doing (showcasing all of the Strange artists). I have a new love for mayday!! Retrogression and the Noose are just awesome tracks. Who do I catch and unfair are off the chain lol bonus tracks are good too. Much respect to everyone in EMJ

Finally got to sit down and give it a listen, still have some to go but so far my favorites are:

The Noose (Though it is depressing )
Welcome to Strangeland
Beautiful Music
and Sad Circus
But like I said still more songs to go. I haven't had much of a chance to listen.

Tech is great at rap, he doesn't need to get gooder at it.

I feel I'm gonna really like it, heard it yesterday and today

"Unfair" is my favorite now, along with "Gods", and "Who do I catch", love this style of hard rhyming on the first one, even though it sounds like the style "Give it up" off all 6's and 7's (an album that took me a little to enjoy most of the songs), including Ces Cru feature in both of them. The beats coudl be better, I hate too much Fruity loops, makes the songs sound "easy".

Also, Mayday killed "The Noose" I'll probably enjoy a good bunch of the songs in some weeks.

EDIT: "Overwhelming" all day! New favorite! "Sad circus" is also very good.

Been listening since the leak. Personally, the collabs to me are (for the most part) fucking annoying. Definitely not the best of the collabo albums.

As for Tech, just fucking holy shit. This guy just keeps getting better and better. His verse on Kocky made my cum in myself when I first heard it, and it is now one of my favorite verses to date.

Then there's Who Do I Catch. This song is an absolute masterpiece. He grabs the beat by the fucking face and almost no words don't rhyme. He also does that crazy multi thing in the 3rd verse; "so that means I caught martians already" and just rhymes that crazy shit over and over.

He does this again in the 3rd verse of Welcome to Strangeland. I hope he does it more too, because it's fucking ill
