Lmao, I was doing the same thing earlier today, given that I like FOTP and all. However, I'm still bugged that this shit is an album and the whole weight that the term carries. The hooks on most of the songs are still too poppy for my taste, and you can tell by his delivery that he wasn't feeling comfortable on the majority of the beats. It's like he was flowing for the sake of getting done with it already. All Black Everything is still my favorite song off the year though, and as a substitute for Lasers, I play FOTP and all the tracks that dropped in between (specially Go To Sleep and Don't Look Down).

I agree about the album thing, if it was a mixtape it'll be received way better. And while I agree he sounded like he just wanted to get done with it, no one can blame him, because he was forced to use shit he didn't want to use, and most of the tracks talked about being 'owned', so it's understandable for me.

And Go To Sleep is crazy!

Oh definitely, I'm not mad at Lupe at all. Just hoping that F&L 2 won't disappoint!

I think it is one of them tracks that sum up what Lupe is about. The way he paints a picture and gets his message across the way he does is something that very few artists in hip hop can do.

Absolutely, and it's one of those songs that can make a rock/non-Hip-Hop fan love it (my cousin for example) but you still know it's the real deal.

Haha just kidding, this album goes hard as fuck. Definitely underrated, and dope.
