Big L

I saw we don't have a Big L thread so I decided to open one up.

I am a HUGE Big L fan. I love the lyrical style of rap because I feel it focuses more on talent then just a dope beat and a catchy hook ;). Anyone can rap like Lil Wayne but it takes skill to create a story, send a message, create a diss that is actually good and true. I don't think I'll ever hear another rapper that has the flow, the style, the lyrical genius Big L had especially for his time.

So lets share our favorite Big L songs/lyrics and chill.

Here are some of my favorites:

It's sad that he had to leave us all but he will be remembered forever. I love his verses on "8 Iz Enuff" and "Da Graveyard", with the way he captivated me. Big L is one of the best punchline MCs ever!

Pac died a very talented individual that died because of some bullshit and the fact that he thought he was untouchable though it's a terrible loss we knew it was coming and biggie was a retaliation of pac's death . but Big L seems to have affected me simply because this dude was really hood , he wasnt cocky because someone put him on or could protect him but he was talented as fuck . a legend man and doesnt get all the credit he deserves RIP L
