Nas : Best Album ?

One of hip-hop's biggest names and one of the best MC's. Nas has a alot of great albums and some not so good. what's his best album ? illmatic ? it was written ? N.I.G.G.E.R. ? God's Son .

It Was Written was the first Nas album I listened to, so I hold that in high regard too even though it doesn't get much acclaim.

I bought N***** a long time a go but have never really gotten fully into it which I don't know if I ever will. Distant Relatives is a great effort as well although I feel it is hard to place on the list as it is totally different musically from the other ones. Personally I feel the album is quite overrated lyrically, gems like Patience will forever stand the test of time though.

Nas has killed everything lately so I expect Life is good to be somewhat good enough to enter my personal top 4.

Well, I hold Illmatic in very high regards, but I honestly feel like Stillmatic was his statement to the world that he is BACK and with a passion, I mean, look at the undoubted classics on that record like "Ether", "One Mic", "2nd Childhood" and personally, "Got Urself A..." I fuckin love Stillmatic and personally think it's his best.

Distant Relatives with Damian Marley was off the hook too and I'm excited outta my drawers for Life Is Good, Nas is top 2 in my opinion.

I think It Was Written might be up there. But in terms of favourite and concepts, I have to go with Hip Hop is Dead.

illmatic will always be classified as the best tho', but it comes down to each person
