It's called Black Hippy:

Kendrick Lamar
Ab-Soul
SchoolBoy Q
Jay Rock

Also, I don't agree with Wale, Asher, and Hopsin is kinda meh to me now. Also, Punch (a.k.a Top Dawg, the President of TDE [Top Dawg Entertainment, the label that signed the Black Hippy artists as a group and as solo acts], is a better rapper than most people in the game now a days. He just never wanted a solo career so he only appears on Black Hippy tracks here and there. TDE/Black Hippy is the future of good rap along with J Cole, XV, Childish Gambino, Jon Connor (sadly he won't ever be know past the underground), and Yelawolf. For the record, Hopsin is good but I've expressed my views on him here before. Just my opinion, don't hate :sweating: , I respect yours.

i've heard of Black Hippy, but tbh it's one great rapper with 3 average rappers to me. and check out Pabst and Jazz the mixtape by Asher.

This is going to be great. I think they'll bring the best out of each other and should broaden both of their fanbases.

Average is kind of an insult. The only one that could even have a chance of being considered average, in my opinion, is Jay Rock. Ab-Soul & SchoolBoy Q are extremely above average and have both put out classics (Habits & Contradictions & Control System) this year. Now Kendrick definitely overshadows them, but it's not a bad as Eminem overshadowing D12, 2Pac overshadowing the Outlawz, or 50 Cent overshadowing G-Unit. Black Hippy has a lot of talent, and have the potential to become one of the best rap groups while also carrying on successful solo careers. Anyway, I'll check out some tracks off that Asher mixtape later.
