The latest single from Strong Arm Steady is bumping and ready for some summer enjoyment. They may have caught your attention with their last six-track EP called Stereotype. The new single from SAS is called “Fair Fight” and is featuring 3 of the 4 Black Hippy crew. The official release will be out for you to buy or download on August 14 via Stones Throw Records.
Go ahead and check out ‘Fair Fight’ for yourself and be sure to leave your thoughts below in the comments section.

I haven't listened yet, and you all probably know I'm only posting this because of Black Hippy. However, I expect something good because Statik Selektah is a dope producer and I trust Black Hippy's judgement to hop on a track. I've never heard of Strong Arm Steady but they just came out with a 6 track EP that is entirely produced by Statik Selektah and features a song with Dom Kennedy and this track with Black Hippy. I'm kind of sad Kendrick Lamar didn't hop on. He was probably too busy because he usually always gets on these tracks with Black Hippy, but it's whatever. At least A-Soul and Schoolboy Q are on here. Also, if you are interested about the EP, here's an outlining of it:

The California native trio of MC’s known as Strong Arm Steady are back, and in a dope way, as they dropped their latest project Stereotype EP today. The EP was dropped to gear up the masses for the official Stereotype album which drops August 14. Though the EP is only 6 songs, the fellas bring some heat.
The project features fellow MC’s such as David Banner, Dom Kennedy, and more and showcases the skills of SAS. Both the album and the EP boast production done exclusively by Statik Selektah. Check out the Stereotype EP after the jump and let us know what you think.

Strong Arm Steady made a dope album "Arms & Hammers" which featured Game, Talib Kweli, KRS One, Kurupt and Too $hort.

And "Stereotype" with Statik Selektah (LP) comes out on 14th of August.

My bad, still haven't listened to the track, but could you suggest some of their good tracks. SAS that is.

All of the verses were dope, but the first three verses (Ab-Soul, some SAS guy, and Q) killed that shit! Holy fuck, dope track. Hook sucked though, wonder why SAS choose that. The groups had good chemistry together as well.

Edit: BTW Lello, did you ever re-listen to Habits & Cotradictions? Also, I found out my OD mixtape I bought from iTunes is missing three tracks found on the free version. I can't believe that shit!

no I haven't yet, I actually read the explanation of all the lyrics of Control System and Section.80 on rap genius so I could know more what I was listening to, and I re-listened to both albums with even more knowledge, I will do the same for Q's album soon

Cool shit

and I agree the chorus is annoying as hell....

I agree, and if you take all of them into account it'd probably be Ab-Soul > Schoolboy Q > that Guy with the Jamaican accent > Jay Rock > then the last two guys off of SAS that sounds like the same person.
