I want them to all be huge, at this point they look like they will all have great solo careers in my opinion. From my perspective, outside of this site (they are catching on here I think because I'm basically shoving them down everyone's throat, I admit it), they have an amazing Internet following. I used to say Jay Rock was average at best, but now I love him so much. He just dropped a track called "YOLA," which I thought was great. He seems to be stepping up his game for his next album. Also, Kendrick Lamar is one of my GOAT's already, Ab-Soul is deep and mind blowing, and Schoolboy is fucking amazing. I honestly the four of them are all in the top ten best new artists breaking out (However, they've been around for a while. They are finally getting popularity now.). What this says about their solo careers? I believe they have the talent to cross over into the mainstream without sacrificing their sound, and Schoolboy Q has gotten a load of features. He's poking his face every where. I mean he got a 50 Cent feature and Lloyd Banks feature (plus more). Ab-Soul has had some features and same with Jay Rock. Kendrick Lamar has got Dr. Dre, Lady Gaga, J Cole, and all the high level features he's been getting in his pocket. I believe that Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q are definitely going to blow up, Jay Rock might, and I don't know if Ab-Soul will. In terms of popularity it goes Kendrick Lamar > Schoolboy Q > Jay Rock > Ab-Soul, but in terms of skill it goes Kendrick Lamar > Ab-Soul > Schoolboy Q > Jay Rock for me. Even if the other three don't blow up, Kendrick will carry them with Black Hippy albums and features. If they don't blow up they could always live in Kendrick's shadow and leach off his fame and wealth to make a career like D12 did to Eminem, but I don't see them doing that because they are able to break off Kendrick's branch and form a new tree unlike D12.
