Keep in mind, my list takes in all of the skills of a rapper, not just one. If you want me to split my list into rhyming, writing, lyricial, discography, wordplay, punchlines, current popularity, production used on their projects, attitude, etc. tell me the category and I'll give you my opinion and reasons why I did that. It would look different for this whole list except maybe that Kendrick Lamar is number one (at least I'm honest).

Kendrick Lamar > Ab-Soul > Schoolboy Q > Joe Budden > Joell Ortiz > Crooked I > Jay Rock > Royce da 5'9".

Also, Kendrick Lamar has a large discography for his age:

Section.80
Overly Dedicated
Kendrick Lamar - EP
C4
No Sleep 'Til NYC (w/ Jay Rock)
Training Day

Also, The Recipe I thought was a cool, chill song. It's like a modern version of California Love. (Just chiller and more relaxed, I say it's a 8/10 single. However, on Kendrick Lamar's standards it's nothing special.) Swimming Pools (Drank) was an amazing single. It has a great cross over beat, and a great message that you wouldn't expect on this kind of beat. It's probably the best song to hit the rap mainstream in a long while. It did amazing for almost no promotion as well, and got a great music video. That was probably the best music video I've seen all year. It's 9/10 song, this is all my opinion BTW.

how is royce last?? he would lyrically humiliate anyone of these guys. its just proof that most of his lyrics are over ppl's heads. analyze the words.

Dude, Royce has had a lot of shit lately. I have his whole discography, I know what the lyrics mean. He's dope, but c'mon... There are loads better. Also, lyrically Black Hippy would wipe the floor with Slaughterhouse. The only thing Slaughterhouse has that Black Hippy doesn't have it access to Eminem, but if Black Hippy wanted Eminem Dre could get him for them.

Never said Slaughterhouse was shit lyricially, never said they couldn't write something dope. I did say Royce has put some shit verses out lately (My Life and Throw it Away).

Edit: Anyways, everyone knows Slaughterhouse was signed because of Royce being in the group. Fuck, there are so many lyrical artists out there that are young. Eminem signed Slaighterhouse because Royce was in it, it had nothing to do with their talent. It was just a bonus.

Then mentioning Eminem is completely irrelevant  Your entire argument in the above quote is just random blabbering.

No, it was making a point. The only thing that Slaughterhouse even can hold as bragging rights over Black Hippy's head is that their boss is Emiem and they have access to him whenever they want. Then I said, even that's not true because Dr. Dre could get Eminem for Blacl Hippy anyway.

Every member in Slaughterhouse was been mostly incapable of putting out an above average record in recent times.

This is easy for me. Slaughterhouse has great lyricism, cool. They have put out two shitty group albums and for the most part, are incapable of putting out decent solo stuff, too.

Black Hippy has more "good" albums this year than Slaughterhouse members have had since its inception. They really shouldn't be compared because they are entirely different groups and we literally have heard what, one song, from Black Hippy as a hip-hop collective?

Not surprised to see Eminem's name make its way into another thread in this forum, though.

Guys, guys, enough with the arguing. It's going too far. Some people prefer Black Hippy, others prefer Slaughterhouse. Nothing you can really do about it.

Now, let's continue our lives and enjoy our music. :D

As a collective they have about 15 (+ or -) songs. Anyway, I'm not trying to argue. Dude was bitching on why I put Royce last on MY list, so I gave him an answer.

And:
blackhippy is good but slaughterhouse would destroy them completely if they were to go head to head lyrically.

So, I responded. It's not like I was talking to thin air, come on now.

Oh, really? I only knew of Black Lip Bastard Remix. They have that many with all four of them on it?

Yeah, they probably even have more. Granted, you have to dig for them. I could give you a link to some later if you want.

Actually, you could get some of them now. If you go to back stage and go to the thread titled "Attention Man1x" you'll find a mixtape entitled Black Hippy under the Black Hippy post I made. These are songs that were compiled together by a fan. I think there are about 11 songs on just that fan made mixtape. It's not an official project though, but the songs are real. They are, however, older material that may or may not be on par with their current material as a group.
