Accor wrote:Who cares if he was the most successful at it..? Kanye would rather have the emotion of Tupac, probably because he can relate to him more. It isn't because of sales.

Accor wrote:He didn't try to offend Eminem at all. Eminem fans are way to sensitive, people are allowed to like other rappers more than him. Kanye wanted the technical aspects of Eminem's music, and the emotion of Tupacs. Nothing wrong with that lol.

EminemBase wrote:Just watched it and all he did was refer to Em as a battle-rapper...
But, on topic:
Besides 2Pac he's the biggest 'emotional rapper' in history.
Many of Em's fans don't even like or know of his battle-rap driven stuff...
"Rock Bottom" / "The Way I Am" / / "Cleanin' Out My Closet" /"Hailie's Song"...
I think Em has done as good a job as any, and better than any at conveying true emotion about a slew of topics including his family and fame.
The thing is though, what Kanye describes as his ideal goal as a rapper... is what Eminem achieved. Eminem had amazing structure and rhymes, with the emotion of Pac, and melody.

Kill You wrote:I think Kanye respects him and regards him as one of the greats, just probably doesn't like his music. I've always gotten the feeling Kanye wasn't Em's biggest fan.
