Have you even listened to an album by a Black Hippy member...

Yeah of course i mean everyone in Black Hippy is better than anyone in D12 aside from Eminem and Proof. But just production wise nothing Black Hippy has ever put out has come close to the beats on Devil's Night.

Following Eminem isn't bad, but I'd be more impressed if that just made a sound that wasn't a spawn of Eminem's and just made something that made you feel like it was D12, not Eminem featuring D12.

Honestly, D12 is what gave Eminem the style he has though. So Eminem's a spawn of D12's sound.

I guess, but Eminem expanded on the "D12" sound and made it Eminem. If you listen to the Underground album they did before they made Devil's Night and before the SSLP you can clearly see Eminem made large improvements on the sound.

They only influenced his Slim Shady character and even that had other influences like Redman as he developed the character. D12 solo members are not known for making emotional and personal music like Eminem does, aside from Mr Porter no 1 in D12 sings like Eminem does. How you gonna say he a spawn of their sound when they never made music like The Eminem Show?

Menzo I have haven't heard anything impressive or really emotional solo woise aside from Proof. But point is theres been personal, emotional rappers since Hip Hop was created Em said the likes of Pac influenced him in that department

Listen to Good DIe Young, Kuniva's verse...plus Kuniva's new mixtape Midwest Marauders 2, shut the fuck up and listen.

But to say D12 influenced his music style is retarded Eminem said himself his life and daily hardships influenced his personal and best music what he went through in his life was his inspiritation and he always mentions Pac as that influence to his emotional style. D12 only influenced his Slim Shady thing where they all made up a character which was Proof's idea. Rappers been Rapping about being broke, and living poor and the things Eminem Raps alot about way back in the 80s Eminem took his influences from those like Pac and Nas. You seem so false

Well since D12 has 2 solid albums out and Black Hippy has yet to release one i'll go D12, plus i'm not that big on Jay Rock. Although without Swifty Mcvay D12 wasn't that great.
