I want to make an article explaining that concept in more depth, I’ll make sure to post it. But basically, he writes two or more verses (or “layers” as he calls them) that have the same rhyme scheme/flow/concept so that if you were to play them at the same time, mute one and play the other, you could switch them (mute the playing layer and play the muted layer) and the verse would still rhyme and be coherent. His song “poet laureate infinity” was the first example of that. It was 1000 bars, with 5 mirroring layers of 200 bars each. There are thousands of different mixes made off of that alone. The main idea is to write identical rhyme schemes and make sure the timing is perfect and the content in the layers is more or less interchangeable at those particular points in time. He hasn't revealed his process yet, and I doubt he will until Rip The Jacker II: Infinity is out.

Oh, okay, I had never heard of that before.

The problem with Canibus is his interchangeable rhyme schemes will be
"......Medium
....Masculine
...Emporium
......Stadium"
etc.

as opposed to trying to write an actual 'infinite' rhyme verse.
For example using the same scheme (and content?) as Renegade.

"....music to steer it
....views and his merits
.....huge interference

.....stupid appearance"
etc.

Heres an example of what I think you're talking about.

A cat sat on a hat
I stood on a mat and grabbed both of the gats
Doing this shit is easy when you rhyme shitty like Canibus
I really think this man is shit, he probably doesn't even stand to piss
Just use random rhyme schemes about nothing in particular
Which is easy for him, he gets to misuse all the biggest words
And then at the end of some long, nonsensical verse, he heads to the chorus
And once that's over, he begins again to bore us

Stay on this faggoty track
Now switch over it'll still rhyme "hat" with something wack
Just a lame attempt at a shit rapper trying to attract some kids
Who are too stupid to understand that this doesn't make someone talented
Just a waste of time which you'd realize if you'd sit and learn
Making songs worth listening to is none of his concern
And his rhymes aren't even clever, or detailed, his brain is porous
And his lyrics never make sense, so it allows for "creative" choices

What do you mean "choices" doesn't rhyme with "porous," you asshat little brat?
I'm Canibus, I can completely alter pronunciation, fag
And reuse the same words, I'll crack your ribs and come and grab your tits
And bite a Justice freestyle, time to finish this up with pure randomness
I hate you guys, I feel I've got to write a different verse
Playin in fog while I'm dissing these dudes, I love to rip and burn
You'll find my genius letters, like leaf trails, in a rainy forest
In hysterics send me my check, I need a new house for my baby's toys, bitch

I watched a battle with The Saurus, then I swallowed anthrax through the tap
Ate radishes, then before sleep I watched Tut against Illmac
I refuse to take turns, I'll snatch your kids and come back for their crib
My life is just so free and vile, I'm not sent from above, feel the anvil hit
I'm great at life, with zeal I'm not the type to live for work
Prayin in songs or just whistling some tunes, my utterance is heard
It binds us freaks together, just read braille books placed in storage
Then you'll perish, sentenced to death, I'm bleeding you out for making noises

Multiply that by about 25, only without nearly as many rhymes as I wrote, and much more nonsensical pseudo-intellectual gibberish, and you have Poet Laureate Infinity.
Canning: What will it say on your tombstone?
Charlie Sheen: Something dot com.

This article was an extremely good read. I highly agree with this as I think Canibus is an amazing lyricist even if he has released a lot of bullshit and done stuff where I'm just like ''..I'm done''. That being said I do prefer Eminem much more and even though Canibitch wasn't anything special it still had a lot of venomous lines. That being said I love both artists a lot but I do prefer Eminem. Canibus does however bore me at times maybe because it ends up to the point where I feel like hes just babbling to sound dope. I also think that even though Rip The Jacker is a classic it's still not as good as the 1st 3 Eminem albums. It does come close to The Eminem Show and Mic Club comes close too as far as just lyrics go (don't kill me guys this is just my opinion). Props for the great read nocturnal :).
