The way I judge music is if it's good or not is to listen to it. Numbers may not lie but they aren't facts. If numbers are solely facts than Lil Wayne is a better rapper than Tech N9ne and no one agrees with that. These Youtube numbers and downloads numbers that rank up are just an ego boost. You can say "yea my song had 500,00 views on Youtube." That doesn't mean your song is good or not.

As for hip-hop, it could help. Tech N9ne can get more Youtube views nowadays than Lil Wayne. Hopsin can gat more than Drake. YelaWolf can get a shit ton of views also. At the same time, dumbass muthafuckers still buy the music and Tech can't outsell Wayne in that.

It's not good for hip-hop but it may not be bad. It all depends on the artist. The only good I see from this is that artists who are terrible like Katy, Taylor, & Bieber get more hits and more money.

This system is fucking retard. Why can't Hopsin just release Knock Madness already? He had a shit ton of hype going after Ill Mind 5. It's time to show these people real and abolish the fake.

lol

wayne's new single has almost 10 M of views on youtube ( the video was released last week)
It takes tech n9ne ages to have +20 M of views on his most viewed videos and it takes Wayne a few months to have +100 M of views on a video

Wayne still hasn't hit +100 M for John, 6 Foot 7 Foot, My Homie Still, No Worries and How To Love :coffee:

so ? Tech n9ne can't do better than these videos ( on youtube) and they aren't even lil wayne's most viewed videos

No Worries is a song from a mixtape and "Love me", released last week is already going to have +10 M of views

Revolutionary wrote:It won't help any underground rapper guys. If iTunes sales never determined who gets the #1 song, then how the hell will a few million views manage to make a difference?

@Lance...meh, Wayne only has 3 songs above 100 million views, he's not that big on Youtube.

I know but he wanted to compare wayne's videos to Tech n9ne's videos and let's be honest, lil wayne is bigger than tech on youtube lol

Well I don't listen to Wayne so I don't know what is or isn't on his mixtape. :coffee:

Wayne is falling down. He got shit on for his line in Future's track, Stevie Wonder's against him, he said fuck LeBron, Wade, and Bosh and he said he fucked Bosh's wife, he also said fuck the Miami Heat and no matter if he says "sorry" it doesn't change the fact he said it, he said he hates New York and blames the city for putting him in jail instead of taking responsibility for his actions.

Wayne's stock is going down.

Only way people will be cool with Wayne is if Don King promotes a cage fight between Wayne and Bosh in MSG.

This will help Rihanna get some more #1's.
And maybe Eminem too.
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Total of views on youtube
Strange Music: 57 719 191
Tech n9ne vevo : 16 302 205

Lil wayne Vevo : 945 101 470

I know some members from TRshady would like Wayne to fail of with his sales but he has one of the most solid fanbases so it doesn't change anything.
He released a video last week and there is almost +10 M of views
I think it's more fair to compare 50 to Hop because 50 isn't big on youtube anymore.

Wayne can say fuck to whoever he wants, he will always sell and his concerts will still be sold out.
His sales are almost intact, it took him a few weeks to go gold with "Bitches Love Me" and he is on his way to go platinum.
